Language communication also uses various sources of language input through different audiovisual mass media technologies. In the same line, the present study aimed at filling the gap in the experimental work on finding an authentic source of language input that can best contribute to developing speaking proficiency in a class room context which lacks the social context similar to that of the co curricular activities. The effect of exposure to audiovisual mass media, and social interaction in language communication improves language proficiency to a great extent.
