Science is a cumulative and endless series of empirical
observations which result in the formation of concepts and theories, with both
concepts and theories being subject to modification in the light of further
empirical observations. Science is both
a body of knowledge and the process of acquiring it.

The product of science are the facts, concepts,
principles, theories and laws.

The process consists of thinking, measuring, problem
solving etc.

The product is a collection of knowledge stored in
books or generated in the minds of scientists

The process represent the ways of gathering this
knowledge or information

Product aspect is a noun
|
The process aspect is more a verb than a noun.

Product aspect represents the ‘end’ of scientific
pursuits.

The process aspect represents the means towards the
end.
